Real existing places of Toradora
Toradora is a series that was born initially as a light novel, from which it was made a manga and particularly a famous anime (in 2009).
The neighborhood where the main characters live is unknown, or rather is not precisely defined by the author, in fact the series is definitely set in
Tokyo but we can't say more because you can recognize many scenes of the anime that take place in several neighborhoods of the city but far from each other.

Kita Akabane
The area around
Kita-akabane station (
Tokyo) along the
JR Saikyo line is perhaps the most "suspected" as the neighborhood where the protagonists live, since it appears many times during the series.
In episode No.6, during an extracurricular activity during which Kawashima is shadowed by a stalker, some views can be recognized.
Near the station of Kita-akabane, the
Shakujii river (Shakujii-gawa, 石神井川) runs,
Vicino alla stazione di Kita-akabane scorre il fiume , on the banks of which several times the protagonists of the series are seen walking, for example in the episode No.14 or in the No.15.

In the episode No.24 Taiga and Ryugi overlook on the bridge over the river.
Some details on the streets of the neighborhood taken from the episode No.20.
Kami-Itabashi
In the episode No.14 Ryugi and Kawashima stop to shop in a supermarket that actually exists and is very close to the north exit of
Kami-itabashi station (
Tokyo) along the
Tobu Tojo line.
This area reappears in the episode No.18 when Taiga goes with Ryugi to do shopping for Christmas in a shopping area called "
Bells Town" which is located just opposite the south exit of the station of Kamiitabashi.
Iogi
About 1 km south of
Iogi Station along the
Seibu Shinjuku line, in the ward of
Suginami (
Tokyo), there is a cafe-restaurant belonging to a popular japanese chain called
Jonathan's.
This place appears at least twice in Toradora as "Johnny's".
The exterior was painted in the color that we see today, similar to that of the anime, as a tribute to Toradora, until a few years ago it was pink in color as seen in this old photo.
Asagaya
In the episode No.23 Taiga and Ryugi (then also helped by Kawashima)spend the Valentine's Day working in a bakery located in the neighborhood of
Asagaya near
Asagaya station, west of
Shinjuku along the
JR Chuo line.
The neighborhood also appears in the initial part of the episode No.24.
Shinjuku
In the episode No.9 of the protagonists go to
Nell'episodio n.9 dell'anime i protagonisti go to the villa of Kawashima on the seashore, and leave by train departing from the famous station of
Shinjuku.
Shimoda
In the episode No.9, after the departure from Shinjuku, the protagonists get off at a station from where they take a bus.
The bus station from where they leave is the one outside the station of
Izukyushimoda in
Shizuoka prefecture.
If I remember correctly, it is the only occasion in which the series takes place out of Tokyo.
